December 3, 2009 – Senate Democrats have announced that the liberal-dominated Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee will vote on extremist lawyer Chai Feldblum’s nomination next week—December 9th.

TVC’s Andrea Lafferty, along with TVC staffers, attended the hearing on Chai Feldblum and watched with disgust as Senator Tom Harkin and Rep. Steny Hoyer heaped praise on her.

It is urgent that TVC supporters contact their Senators immediately to oppose Feldblum for the EEOC – and that they distribute this email to everyone they know who can also oppose her confirmation. Only the grassroots can stop her from being confirmed. Senators must feel the heat on Feldblum and her bizarre views.

Feldblum’s confirmation to be a commissioner on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) would serve as a steppingstone for her to be picked for a vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court. Her appointment to the EEOC would be a disaster for America and for our Judeo-Christian value system – upon which our laws are based.

Once on the Court, this lesbian activist would impose her political agenda on all Americans through various edicts. Feldblum has invented her own moral standard and it is based on her belief that “gay sex is good.” Her entire career has been dedicated to “revolutionizing social norms” in our society – which means rejecting our Judeo-Christian heritage and our legal system.

Feldblum has stated her disdain for traditional marriage and has expressed support for polyamory – sexual relationships between multiple partners – both male and female.

In addition, Feldblum believes that when “gay rights” clash with religious freedom, “gay rights” should always win. She equates being “gay” with being Black and claims that the U.S. Constitution should be redefined to protect “identity liberty.” She rejects the First Amendment as protecting religious liberty.

Leadership in churches and Christian business owners should be very concerned about the Senate placing her on the EEOC and doubly so if ENDA passes, as the EEOC is the final arbiter of disagreements between employers and employees.

Feldblum also believes that a person has the right to define whatever sex he wants to be. A man can define himself as a woman; a woman can define herself as a man. Public policy must bend to the desires of these sexually confused individuals. Imagine the horrors she will impose on businesses and Christian schools if they’re forced to hire or retain transsexuals or she-males (individuals with both male and female sex characteristics).

Feldblum is a sexual anarchist who will do whatever she can to destroy Biblical morality and to impose her new view of what is right or wrong. Her standard of morality is diametrically opposed to Biblical morality and our Judeo-Christian-based legal system.
