November 16, 2009 – Chai Feldblum is a liberal activist who has been picked by President Obama to serve on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Feldblum was the primary author of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a bill that will violate religious liberty and push the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender political agenda on businesses as well as religious institutions with 15 or employees.

If confirmed to the EEOC, Feldblum, a lesbian, will use her power to strip nearly all First Amendment rights of freedom of expression/free exercise of religion from businesses. She would exploit her position on the EEOC to use the force of government to change the social norms of private institutions.

Feldblum believes that the Christian owner of a business loses his religious liberty when he engaged in commerce. According to Feldblum: “Once an individual chooses to enter the stream of economic commerce by opening a commercial establishment, I believe it is legitimate to require that they play by certain rules. If the government tolerated the private exclusionary policies of such individuals in the commercial sector, such toleration would necessarily come at the cost of gay people’s sense of belonging and safety in society. Just as we do not tolerate private racial beliefs that adversely affect African-Americans in the commercial arena, even if such beliefs are based on religious views, we should similarly not tolerate private beliefs about sexual orientation and gender identity that adversely affect LGBT people.”

Feldblum has created the term “identity liberty” that conflicts with “belief liberty.” According to Feldblum, a person’s sexual identity “rights” must routinely trump “belief liberty” which is religious liberty guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution.

In addition: Feldblum rejects the right of the Boy Scouts to set its own moral standards for membership.

Feldblum would impose the LGBT agenda on all of our nation’s public and private schools – and our children would be forced to affirm gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered individuals as both teachers and as students.

Feldblum also rejects the concept of traditional marriage in favor of polyamory – where three or more men and women engaged in sex acts is considered a “marriage.” Traditional marriage will become meaningless if Feldblum achieves her goals.

Feldblum’s position on the EEOC is a steppingstone to the U.S. Supreme Court, where she could end up with a lifetime appointment to push the LGBT agenda on all Americans.

In short, Feldblum has stated: “We want to change the American workplace and revolutionize social norms.” Instead of being an unbiased referee on the EEOC, she would be a radical activist who would use the force of government to implement aggressive and intrusive employment non-discrimination laws to benefit the LGBT political agenda.
