Gay Radical Runs Obama’s ‘Safe Schools’ Program

Department of Education will be ATM machine for gay agenda.

June 4, 2009 – As I predicted last year, Kevin Jennings, the former head of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) would eventually become part of the Obama Administration. It’s happened. He is President Obama’s latest Czar—the gay agenda Czar. Jennings has been hired to head up the US Department of Education’s “safe school” program.This drug free/safe schools program will be used as an ATM machine to provide millions of dollars in funds for the promotion of the gay agenda in our nation’s public schools. Jennings has previously used the “safe school” ploy to push the gay agenda and to promote anti-Christian bigotry while he ran GLSEN.

He will use federal tax dollars as a way of silencing criticism of the gay agenda as being “hate speech,” or “homophobia.” (This anti-Christian agenda was carried out during the Clinton years in the “Healing the Hate” curriculum and resources on government web sites.)

While at GLSEN, he promoted “no-name calling” weeks, days of silence, and gay pride celebrations in our nation’s public schools. GLSEN promotes a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) month in our nation’s public schools, too.

Jennings is a hypocrite when he pushes “no-name calling” events in schools. He uses name-calling and vilification of his opponents whenever he’s speaking to a gay audience.

GLSEN’s motto is “Teaching Respect For All,” but Jennings doesn’t follow his own advice. In a GLSEN conference in November, 1997, Jennings attacked TVC Chairman Louis P. Sheldon. He told the audience: “I don’t have to like Lou Sheldon. I don’t have to like or respect Lou Sheldon.”

At this same GLSEN conference, Jennings told his fellow gay teachers that they must teach kids to accept homosexuality “before the children have a chance to be prejudiced by their parents and churches.” What he calls prejudice, we call biblical morality and decency.

He admits that he wants gay teachers to violate the moral values of parents and of church teachings on the evils of gay sex acts!

Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we’ll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That’s really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit — I’m trying to find a way to say this. I’m trying not to say, ‘[F—] ‘em!’ which is what I want to say, because I don’t care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!” — Jennings speech to Marble Collegiate Church, March 20, 2000.

Jennings also wrote the foreword to Queering Elementary Education which advocated using gay literature and essays in reading, writing, and talking. Obama friend and unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers wrote a glowing endorsement on the back cover of this book.

Jennings Admits Hiding Sexual Molestation Of Child

In his 1994 book, One Teacher In 10, Jennings admits that he “did not report sexual victimization of a student to the proper authorities” when he worked as a school teacher in Concord, Massachusetts. Jennings describes the advice he gave in 1988 to a sophomore student named Brewster who confided to him his gay involvement with an older man he had met in Boston. Child protection laws in Massachusetts require a teacher to notify child welfare authorities within 48 hours if a child under 18 is suffering sexual abuse. Here is the description Jennings gives of his counseling session with Brewster:

Toward the end of my first year, during the spring of 1988, Brewster appeared in my office... “Brewster has something he needs to talk with you about,” [a student accompanying the boy] intoned ominously....On a hunch, I suddenly asked, “What's his name?” Brewster's eyes widened briefly, and then out spilled a story about his involvement with an older man he had met in Boston. I listened, sympathized, offered advice. He left my office with a smile on his face....

Jennings violated state law and protected a pederast who was molesting this teenage boy. How many other boys did this man molest because of Jennings’ failure to report him to the authorities?

TVC has followed the radical agenda of Jennings for more than 20 years. He is a militant gay who has pioneered the infiltration of the gay agenda into our nation’s public schools during the past two decades.

TVC’s report, Homosexuals Recruit Public School Children, published nearly 10 years ago, describes how Jennings deceived the then-Governor William Weld of Massachusetts into setting up a gay recruitment program in the state’s public schools. Jennings used the “gay teen suicide” ploy to create “safe schools” for Massachusetts. Our report debunks the myth of an epidemic of gay teen suicides. Thanks to Jennings, Gov. Weld formed the Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth” to propagandize public school kids.

Jennings admitted to a gay audience in March, 1995 that he used the “safety” theme as a way to get into the public schools. He stated:

We immediately seized upon the opponent’s calling card—safety—and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students’ safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems and suicide are common. Titling our report, “Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,” we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedaling from day one.”

As a result of Jennings’ deceit, Massachusetts has been funding gay propaganda in the public schools for nearly 20 years.

GLSEN has infiltrated thousands of schools across the U.S. using the same deceitful tactics employed by Jennings in Massachusetts. GLSEN-sponsored Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs have gained footholds in our nation’s schools as recruitment programs.

GLSEN Hosts Fisting Seminars

One of the most disgusting events ever held by GLSEN was a “Teach Out” for teachers and teenagers at Tufts University in 2000. Scott Whiteman, a pro-family activist and employee of the Parents Rights Coalition (now MassResistance) attended this seminar and taped several of the workshops. One of those was “What They Didn’t Tell You About Queer Sex & Sexuality In Health Class.” During this workshop, two lesbians and a gay taught teenagers how to fist their sex partners.

Tables outside the workshop rooms were filled with condoms. One sex clinic offered “pocket sex” kits to teens. Each contained two condoms, two antiseptic moist towelettes, and six bandages for “when the sex got really rough.”

GLSEN outrages in Massachusetts also involved the distribution of the “Little Black Book” to teens at Brookline High School in April 2005. The “Little Black Book” is filled with gross descriptions of gay sex acts and medical misinformation on the dangers of gay sex.

Jennings Now Has Federal Tax Money To Recruit Teens

Thanks to President Obama, Czar Jennings now has millions of our tax dollars at his disposal to promote the gay agenda and to put policies in place penalizing any criticism of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) activities in our nation’s public schools.
