Homosexual Hate Crime/ENDA Legislation Tops Obama Agenda

January 22, 2009 – President Barack Obama had not yet finished his inaugural address to the nation, when his political agenda was posted on the White House web site. As TVC has warned, two of his top priorities are ENDA and hate crimes. He will push for passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a pro-homosexual, anti-Christian bill that will punish any employer who dares to supposedly “discriminate” against a homosexual, bisexual, cross-dresser or drag queen. (TVC’s analysis of ENDA is based on the 2007 version.) Both bills threaten freedom of religion and free speech.

ENDA and Hate Crimes legislation will:

Force Christian businessmen to hire homosexuals, bisexuals and cross-dressers and drag queens.
Criminalize “hate speech” – any speech that is critical of homosexual behaviors.
Elevate homosexuality and other confused behaviors to equal status as heterosexuality.
Waste federal tax dollars and investigative resources in prosecuting “hate crimes.”
Create a climate of fear for any person who opposes homosexual practices.
Legalize 30 sexual orientations as federally-protected classes under the law.

Obama will push for passage of a hate crime bill. TVC’s 2007 analysis of the previous hate crimes bill provides details on the dangers of hate crime legislation to religious freedom and free speech.

Under the Civil Rights section of the White House.gov web site, Obama lists passage of ENDA and hate crimes legislation as top priorities.

Obama will also push for homosexual adoption, repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in the military; and opposes a federal amendment banning same-sex marriages nationwide. His Administration is also going to push for civil unions and domestic partner benefits for federal employees.

His Administration also supports sex education that promotes contraception and needle exchange programs for drug addicts.

Obama’s support of the homosexual agenda is evident on the White House web site.

Obama Lied About Supporting Homosexual Marriage

A report in Politico has revealed that Obama has lied about his support of homosexual marriage as a presidential candidate. During the campaign, Obama repeatedly stated that he opposed homosexual marriage, but favored civil unions instead.

However, in a 1996 statement published on Politico, it is revealed that he answered a homosexual questionnaire by stating: “I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.” He also indicated support for homosexual adoptions, and a state civil rights bill for homosexuals.

“It appears clear that Obama lied during the campaign about his support for homosexual marriage because he wanted to win the national election,” said Lafferty. “He was more honest about his views when running for the Illinois State Senate – when fewer people could evaluate his pro-homosexual positions.”
