McDonald’s Is Now Serving Families A ‘Sad Meal’
Spokesman calls Christians hateful July 31, 2008 – The fast food chain McDonald’s is facing the loss of millions of dollars in business from pro-family consumers because of its support of the homosexual/transgender agenda.
“McDonald’s has partnered with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC),” said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. “It also gave this activist group a $20,000 grant to support its efforts to influence corporate America. “When my son bounds out of kindergarten at his school, a typical request is to go to ‘Old McDonald’s.’ It’s not about the cuisine, the first question he asks when we get there is which toy are they giving away that day. Now, we are settling for a lemonade at another restaurant because, as our son says aloud every time a McDonald’s commercial airs on television or as we drive past one, – ‘McDonald’s is bad,’” said Lafferty.
McDonald’s own Vice President of Communications, Richard Ellis, has joined the NGLCC board of directors! According to Ellis, “I’m thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC’s passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward.”
Ellis also heads up McDonald’s Gay, Lesbian and Allies Network, the corporation’s group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees. The network currently has 120 members. He also sits on the board of directors of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
The NGLCC web site describes its advocacy efforts to influence national legislation; to monitor how the government deals with homosexuals, bisexuals and transgendered individuals in the workplace. The NGLCC is lobbying for passage of so-called hate crimes legislation, domestic partnership benefits, family leave policies and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).
At the 2007 NGLCC National Dinner, a number of individuals were honored, including Robert Hanson, president of Levi Strauss North America. In June 2008, Hanson was the co-chair of the Out & Equal Workplace Advocates fundraising dinner in San Francisco.
“In 1992, Levi Strauss stopped donations to the Boy Scouts of America because of the Scouts policy of protecting boys from open homosexuals,” said Lafferty. “Levi Strauss is a major supporter of the homosexual agenda as evidenced by Hanson’s appearance at these events.”
“Levi Strauss has been an aggressive enemy of the Boy Scouts and not only stopped its donations to the Boy Scouts over its policy on homosexuals, but began to aggressively market its products to homosexuals in their magazines,” said Lafferty. In addition, it began funding such radical groups as the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which recruits confused children on school campuses!
Homosexual activist legislator Barney Frank (D-MA) is a strong supporter of the NGLCC’s political efforts in Washington D.C. According to Frank: “The NGLCC carries on this work by its formation of a ‘broad-based coalition, representative of the various interests of American LGBT owned and friendly businesses, professionals, and students of business to increase economic opportunities among membership, corporate interests and federal, state and local governments.’”
“Like Levi Strauss, McDonald’s has become an open and aggressive supporter of the homosexual agenda,” said Lafferty. “As such, it will no longer receive my business until it rejects the homosexual political agenda and returns to what it does best: selling Happy Meals and fun to America’s children.”
Bill Whitman, a spokesman for McDonald’s told the Washington Post recently that “Hatred has no place in our culture,” when asked about the American Family Association boycott of McDonald’s over its pro-homosexual policies. Whitman is saying that Christians who oppose the homosexual agenda are guilty of hate!

Invading Corporate America
The homosexual invasion of corporate America is well-advanced and deeply entrenched among many huge businesses. The effort is designed to help fund homosexual legislative activities and to force corporations into setting up sensitivity training programs to require employees to affirm homosexual and now cross-dressing conduct among their co-workers.
This effort is being pushed not only by the NGLCC, but by the Human Rights Campaign and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Employees who object to the homosexualization of the workplace often times find themselves being punished, demoted or fired for objecting to homosexuality or transgender political agendas.
Every year, HRC publishes its report on the most “gay friendly” companies in America. In 2007, for example, HRC published a listing of 195 corporations that received a positive 100% rating for being “gay friendly.”
“Hungry patrons should beware of how they spend their hard-earned dollars,” said Lafferty. “When buying a ‘Sad Meal’ from McDonald’s, they’re now helping fund the homosexual agenda. By purchasing a pair of jeans from Levi Strauss, they’re helping destroy the moral foundations of our society.”TAKE ACTION: Let McDonald’s know how you feel about their support of the homosexual/transgender agenda and their sponsorship of pornographic pride parades!
