PFOX has been fighting against the exclusion of the ex-homosexual perspective from the sex ed curricula and has faced persecution from school teachers and homosexual students.

PFOX writes: “According to the American Psychiatric Association, there are no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biological cause for homosexuality. But now the Montgomery County Board of Education has done what science and medicine could not do by declaring in its newly approved curriculum that homosexuality is ‘innate’ or inborn. The board could not produce any factual evidence for what it will now teach students – only political ‘pledges’ and payoffs for last year’s school board elections as claimed by gay rights activists.”

“The Montgomery County School Board claimed that homosexuality is “innate” is medically and scientifically inaccurate,” said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. “No reputable scientific group can make this claim with certainty and homosexual researchers have been trying to find the so-called ‘gay gene’ for decades. They consistently fail. Just saying something is innate doesn’t cut it in the world of science.”

Lafferty points to numerous articles that debunk the idea that people are “born gay.” “Study after study has debunked the ‘born gay’ urban legend, yet liberals continue to buy into this junk science. The homosexual agenda routinely trumps the truth.”
