SPECIAL ALERT TO CALIFORNIA VOTERS: California Legislators To Pass Homosexual School Propaganda Bill

March 1, 2007 – Dear TVC Supporters: Just as we suspected and warned…liberal legislators, some of them homosexuals themselves, and their allies have introduced some of the most blatant pro-homosexual, pro-transsexual legislation that promotes their lifestyle, grants their lifestyles additional special protections in the law and totally redefines marriage!

But rest assured, TVC is aggressively working on plans to defeat these bills and we are already working with others and seeking legal opinions so that we are adequately prepared for the fight being waged against us.

Senator Sheila Kuehl has introduced Senate Bill 777. This bill would ban all instruction, school activities, instructional materials and even textbooks from “reflecting adversely” on homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenders and those who think they are the opposite sex.

If this sounds familiar it should. This is Senator Keuhl’s second attempt to force schools to promote homosexuality in textbooks, lessons and more. Her bill last year was thankfully vetoed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. But SB 777 is must worse than last year’s bill. SB 777 would affect 25 sections of the Education Code with her pro-homosexual provisions.

SB 777 means that no statement could be made that could be considered negative against homosexuality. What this means is that all textbooks would have to positively portray the homosexual, bisexual or transgender lifestyles.

SB 777 is clear… “No teacher”, “No textbook”, “No instructional materials”, and no school “sponsored activity” shall “reflecting adversely” upon persons because of their perceived gender or sexual orientation. Kuehl even goes as far as redefining the term “gender.” It would no longer mean biological male or female. It would now mean “gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior” different than their sex at birth!

SB 777 cleverly accomplishes two major goals of radical homosexual activists: It gives pro-homosexual teachers free reign to teach whatever they want about the alleged positive aspects of homosexuality—and it silences all opposition to it. Teachers would be free to promote homosexuality but banned from discussing any negative consequences.

They want every student in the state to read from textbooks that say homosexuality is ok. They want every student to see pictures of homosexual couples in their workbooks. For every family portrayed with a mom and dad their must be a “family” with two men or two women.

IF THEY SILENCE THOSE WHO OBJECT TO THEIR LIFESTYLE, THEY CAN CONTINUE TO INDOCTRINATE OTHERS.

As if SB 777 isn’t damaging enough, there are at least 4 other new bills promoting homosexuality:

Assembly Bill 14: Amends 50 different parts of the law with special protections for homosexual, bisexuals and transgenders while at the same time punishing Christian churches, businesses and religious people for their beliefs.

Assembly Bill 43: Redefines the definition of marriage to now include “any two persons,” paving the way for two men or two women to marry.
Assembly Bill 675: Would allocate $250,000 to select schools to implement pro-homosexual “tolerance” programs.

Senate Bill 11: Would grant all the rights of marriage to any two people who simply live together…no marriage required. Marriage would be equated to homosexual “domestic partnerships.” A boyfriend and girlfriend, unmarried, would be granted marriage rights as well.

The battle to defend the family and our children from the radical homosexual agenda and their twisted activists is well underway. And they have even stated that more pieces of legislation are coming. We must take action and not remain silent.
