New Report Exposes Collusion Among Mental Health Groups And Homosexuals

February 9, 2006 – Dr. Jeffrey Satinover, author of Homosexuality And The Politics Of Truth, published a paper on the collusion between mental health organizations and homosexual activists. The paper was presented at the National Association for Research and Therapy (NARTH) conference in November, 2005. “The Trojan Couch: How The Mental Health Guilds Allow Medical Diagnostics, Scientific Research And Jurisprudence To Be Subverted In Lockstep With The Political Aims Of Their Gay Sub-Components,” is a devastating expose of how homosexual activists inside and outside of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychological Association have used these organizations to promote the homosexual agenda.

Dr. Satinover proves conclusively that the two APAs routinely use pro-homosexual materials that misquote studies on homosexual behavior, use bogus studies that are seriously flawed or claim that studies say exactly the opposite of what they actually say.

He points first to the use of Evelyn Hooker’s 1957 “study” of homosexual males that claimed that homosexuals were just as normal as heterosexuals. This deeply flawed study is still cited by the American Psychological Association on its web site and is routinely quoted in friend of the court briefs designed to promote homosexual marriage or the adoption of children by homosexuals. Dr. Satinover goes into great detail debunking the Hooker study as inaccurate and dishonest.

Satinover also discusses the practice of homosexual activists of citing only portions of studies to support their positions while ignoring key findings that show that homosexual behavior is abnormal, dysfunctional, and dangerous. He points to the use of the fraudulent use of the Laumann study, “The Social Organization of Sexuality: Sexual Practices in the United States,” as evidence of this practice to misquote studies to support the homosexual agenda.

Homosexual activists quoted the Laumann study in briefs filed in Romer and Lawrence v. Texas to assert that homosexuality is normal. Yet, according to Dr. Satinover, the Laumann study actually found that homosexuality as a fixed trait scarcely even seems to exist.” Laumann found that homosexuality is not a stable trait at all and that homosexual behaviors decline over time. The researcher found that homosexual behavior tends to spontaneously convert to heterosexuality with the passage of time. Yet, homosexual activists have continued to claim that homosexuality is a fixed, genetic-based orientation that must be protected by the government.

Satinover also points out that many of the sources cited by homosexual activists in their briefs also support the legalization of incest, pedophilia, sado-masochism, and bestiality.

Dr. Satinover quotes several studies showing that cultural influences affect the rates of homosexual behaviors in various nations. In one New Zealand study, researchers found that individuals with higher educations—who had been exposed to homosexual propaganda in college—tended to experiment with homosexuality more than others. This increase in homosexuality has nothing to do with genes, but with pro-homosexual propaganda in colleges.

The Trojan Couch should be in the hands of lawmakers, pastors, members of the media, teachers, and others who impact public policy decisions dealing with homosexual behaviors. Dr. Satinover’s report proves conclusively that mental health guilds have become willing pawns in the hands of homosexual activists—and have shown they are willing to compromise scientific integrity to serve homosexual goals.

The Trojan Couch also proves that homosexual activists deliberately misquote or omit unpleasant facts about homosexual conduct in their court briefs—and gullible judges accept their arguments without fact-checking footnotes or sources cited in these briefs. Serious public policy decisions are being made by our courts based upon false information and lies promoted by radical homosexuals.

Two liberal leaders in the mental health field have recently written a scathing expose of how the psychiatry and psychology have been subverted by political correctness and homosexual activism. Drs. Wright and Cummings in their book, Destructive Trends In Mental Health, criticize those in the mental health fields who allow themselves to be exploited for political gain by homosexuals. Wright and Cummings are both life-long liberals who have fought for “gay rights” in the past.
