TVC Battles To Take Back Our Courts!

August 18, 2005 – The Traditional Values Coalition’s Battle Plan Center provides supporters of Constitutional government and Constitutionalists on the federal courts with the latest information on the fight to take back the Supreme Court from judicial activists. “TVC is determined to work to take back control of our judicial system from activist judges,” said Traditional Values Coalition Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. “Leftists understand that their pet projects: abortion on demand, explicit sex education for children, homosexual marriage, unrestricted pornography, etc., can only be imposed on Americans through judicial edict. They fear having Constitutionalists on the federal bench who will interpret, not create law. They fear judges who respect the executive and legislative branches of government and the will of the people.”

Our newest report is a “Primer on Selecting Federal Judges.”

The fight to confirm Judge John Roberts to the Supreme Court is only part of this long-term war over our nation’s courts. The war is between leftist judicial activists who wish to use our court system to impose their social agendas upon us by force versus those who believe that the courts have overstepped their proper authority. Many federal court judges view themselves as legislators and social engineers who have the right and authority to remake our society into what they want—regardless of what the American people wish.

This is judicial tyranny and what Judge Robert Bork has correctly called “Our Judicial Oligarchy.”

The Constitution created three branches of government—Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Our Founding Fathers viewed the judicial branch as being the least dangerous branch—not a super legislature or super executive branch that overrules the other two branches.
