TVC Publishes New Report On Psychiatry And Homosexual Agenda

July 9, 2004 – Most Americans are unaware that until 1973, homosexuality was listed as a mental disorder in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-II). The removal of homosexuality as a disordered behavior was accomplished by closeted homosexuals inside the APA (and pro-homosexual psychiatrists) as well as radical homosexual groups outside of the APA. These groups terrorized the APA’s national conferences for three years in a row beginning in 1970 until the APA caved in. APA members simply voted on removing the diagnosis from the DSM-II. The decision was decided by one-third of the APA members. The decision was not based on science or rational debate. It was rammed through by homosexual activists and their allies.

The removal of homosexuality as a mental disorder gave homosexual activists credibility and respectability and freed them from the well-earned stigma that should be attached to deviant and sexually destructive behaviors.

Psychiatrists and psychologists have paved the way for the social chaos that is currently facing our culture.
