AB 499---Atkins (D)

Lesbian legislator Toni Atkins is the culprit behind this bill. AB 499 would allow for students as young as 12 years old to consent to medical procedures and medical medications, testing etc if they have a disease that is required to be reported to a Health Officer or if they have a sexually transmitted disease. This consent DOES NOT HAVE TO BE APPROVED BY PARENTS OR WITH PARENT’S KNOWLEDGE!! What is frightening is that under this bill girls can consent on their own to receiving the untested and controversial HPV vaccine. In State Senate.

SB 48
By Leno
(D)

SB 48 is being called the “Fair, Accountable, Inclusive, and Respectful Education Act” or FAIR Act. The bill is being authored by self-admitted homosexual State Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco. But there is nothing fair, accountable, inclusive or respectful about it. This bill is so far-reaching into the structure of California’s education system that it is possible its harmful effects could be never-ending. SB 48 would amend current Education Code sections to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender to the list of categories to be covered in all textbooks and instructional materials. These new textbooks and instructional materials would apply to ALL subjects in curriculum and to ALL grades K-12. Textbooks, curriculum and instructional materials must present the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender lifestyles in a positive manner.

SB 182
By Corbett
(D)

This bill would force the Governor to conduct questioning on potential candidates for judgeships about their sexual orientation and practices. Any person who is qualified to serve as a judge would be given a questionnaire and among the list of questions would be ones asking what their sexual orientation is…are they homosexual, bisexual, lesbian, etc. Supporters of this bill claim that the makeup of California’s judges need to be diverse. The true intent of this bill is to find pro-homosexual candidates that a liberal Governor can appoint as judge. Homosexual marriage advocates are wanting to ensure judges support gay marriage and oppose Prop 8.

AB 9
By Ammiano
(D)

Homosexual legislator Tom Ammiano is trying to use the legitimate issue of stopping bullying and use it to promote further protections for homosexual, bisexuality, and transgender. Under this bill anti-bullying procedures would possibly include increased penalties for students who are accused of “bullying” another student simply because they expressed an opposing view to another students homosexuality. This bill forces all schools to embrace and accept a student’s “gender appearance” and grant them protections based on how a student dresses or acts. This bill is aimed punishing religious and conservative beliefs opposing questionable sexual lifestyles.

AB 433
By B. Lowenthal (D)

AB 433 seeks to grant any individual a new “birth certificate” if they undergone sex change operations or “sexual transition” procedures. A person who has started hormone treatments, but not yet fully undergone a complete sex change operation, would be allowed to file with the court and county a request for a new birth certificate reflecting the new “sex” they perceive themselves to be.

The new birth certificate would not reflect that the person was originally born the opposite sex or that there was an initial birth certificate issued when the person was actually born. Transgender activists want new birth certificates reflecting the sex they perceive themselves to be and act like and dress like, and not reflect their true sex. This bill is absurd and leaves the state vulnerable to people taking on different identities.

AB 887
By Atkins
(D)

Self-admitted lesbian legislator Toni Atkins is pushing this bill. This bill seeks to add “gender expression” as a new group of people to be granted Civil Rights status under state law. “Gender expression” would mean how one perceives themselves, how one acts and how one dresses. Gender expression is another term used by the homosexual community to describe transsexuals. AB 887 seeks to elevate this behavior to Civil Rights status. This bill must be stopped!

AB 1156
By Eng (D)

AB 1156 is another bill using the recent bullying incidents as justification to further promote the homosexual, bisexual and transgender lifestyles in California’s schools. Views that oppose homosexuality and other questionable sexual lifestyles would be considered of a “bullying” nature. This bill, like the others mentioned above, seeks to punish religious or conservative views against homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender.

AB 190
By Wieckowski (D)

AB 190 seeks to add an additional $3 “fee” to every state or local traffic ticket and direct those funds to the Roman Reed Spinal Cord Injury Foundation and the Reeve-Irvine Research Center at the University of California at Irvine. These groups, thanks to the passage of Prop 71, destroy human embryos for purposes of “research.” Human embryos should not be destroyed for so-called “research” that has yet to produce one substantive cure. Human stem cells from umbilical chords are more productive and do not destroy human embryos.

AB 1348---Mansoor (R)

AB 1348 is Pro-Family Assemblyman Allan Mansoor’s answer to AB 499 mentioned above. AB 1348 would remove the provision in current law that allows for school district personnel to remove a minor from school grounds without parental knowledge to obtain confidential medical services any kind, including abortions. AB 1348 would say that NO school district and school personnel may remove a student, grades 1-12, from school grounds without parental permission. Parents would have to explicitly giver permission before any minor is taken off campus for any medical procedure, appointment, consultation, etc.

SB 5---
By Harman (R)
Senate Bill 5 would have allowed supporters of an initiative, like our side who supported one man/one woman marriage with Prop 8, to have the legal right to defend the initiative in court proceedings if the Governor or Attorney General refuse to defend it. Thanks to Governor Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Jerry Brown in 2009 and 2010, Prop 8 has no official defender in court, they refused to represent the people. SB 5 would give us the right to defend the measure if a Governor or Attorney General disagree with the initiative and refuse to defend it.
