CLINIC: Hello.

CALLER: I was actually wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: Yes, we do.

CALLER: Oh. Well, do you know -- like I'm just kind of worried because like I'm going to be 14 later on this month, and my friend said that you guys would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend is 22. Could he just sign whatever it is and you wouldn't have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: Okay. Hold on. (music) No, this is confidential. Your parents will not know about this.

CALLER: Okay. The main reason why I'm worried about all this is because like I haven't had my period since like December 26, and I'm just really scared.

CLINIC: Yeah. You should come in for a pregnancy test.

CALLER: Oh. Well, how long does it take for that?

CLINIC: Pregnancy test takes about maybe half an hour.

CALLER: Really? Well, okay. But if it turned out that I wasn't pregnant could I get birth control?

CLINIC: Yes, you can.

CALLER: Oh. Well, would you have to tell anybody about that though?

CLINIC: No. Everything here is confidential.

CALLER: Oh, okay. I just have a lot of questions, but I can't think of them right now. Could I call you back and talk to you? What was your name?

CLINIC: No, you could just talk to anybody. That's fine.

CALLER: Oh, all right.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: Okay. Thanks.
