We do have a Planned Parenthood in Stockton that does. CALLER: Oh. Well, do you have that phone number? CLINIC: 477-4103. CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know, I'm just really worried because like I'm going to be 14 in March and my friend told me that they would have to tell my parents I'm getting an abortion. But my boyfriend's 22. Is he old enough to take care of it and they wouldn't have to tell anybody? CLINIC: You -- everything's confidential that goes to Planned Parenthood. You might want to call them just to make sure what process you would have to go through -- if you pay cash or if you have to go through the Medical. CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, my boyfriend said he would pay cash for everything. So. CLINIC: Okay. Then just call Planned Parenthood then at the (Benhold?). CALLER: Oh. Well, can I come there for a pregnancy test just to make sure? CLINIC: Yeah. You can come in for a pregnancy test. You can come in -- CALLER: It's just I'm scared because like my last period was like December 21st, and I don't know what to do. CLINIC: What you can, you can come in tomorrow. We take walk-ins between 8:30 and 11:00. CALLER: Okay. CLINIC: Or 1:30 to 3:00. CALLER: All right. Well, if -- and if it ended up and I wasn't pregnant, could I get birth control there? CLINIC: Yeah, we can see about starting. CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, would you guys have to tell anybody that I was on birth control though? CLINIC: Nope. CALLER: No? CLINIC: No. CALLER: All right. CLINIC: Okay? CALLER: Would it be all right if like my boyfriend was there with me, because I would just feel better if he was there. CLINIC: That's fine. He won't be able to go in the back with you, but he can sit with you in the lobby. CALLER: Okay. CLINIC: Okay? CALLER: All right. Well, but -- so no one would have to know if I was on birth control, right? CLINIC: No. Nobody would have to know. CALLER: Okay. CLINIC: They wouldn't have to ask your parents' permission. CALLER: Okay. I'm just really worried. And I have a lot of questions I can't think of right now. But could I call you back and talk to you? What was your name? CLINIC: My name is Teresa (sp). What you can do is, when you come in tomorrow -- CALLER: Yeah. CLINIC: -- you can ask them all the questions in the back. CALLER: Oh, okay. CLINIC: And, because it will be more on a one-on-one.
