CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there?

CLINIC: Not at this location. This is the Community Affairs and Development Office. It's not a medical center. I can give you the number to our medical center.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: That's 394-1691.

CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know, like I'm just really worried because like I'm going to be 14 in March, and my friend told me that they would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend's 22. Could he just sign whatever it is and they wouldn't have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: You know, I'm not sure exactly how they handle that other than that we do everything with confidentiality.

CALLER: Really?

CLINIC: You know, as for the specific services and what you need to do to get those services you really need to talk to the medical center directly.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, do they do pregnancy tests there?

CLINIC: I believe so, yes.

CALLER: Oh, okay. Well, do you know, like I wasn't pregnant if they have birth control there?

CLINIC: I'm sure they do. Yes.

CALLER: But would they have to tell anybody if I was on birth control you think?

CLINIC: You know, I'm not sure. I know that this, the office you're talking to here is not a medical center, so we don't have any of the information about what our protocols and procedures are for medical services. The medical center can fill you in on all that stuff. I mean, I know that we do have confidentiality.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Are you looking for some center on the Monterey Peninsula?

CALLER: Yeah.

CLINIC: Okay. That would be our Seaside Center. That's the number I gave you.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: And they'll be able to help you out.

CALLER: All right. Thanks.

CLINIC: You're welcome.

CALLER: Bye.

CLINIC: Bye bye.
