CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.

CLINIC: We do first trimester abortions here, which is only within the first three months.

CALLER: Okay, well, like my last period was like the first week in December.

CLINIC: Like what day did it start?

CALLER: I think it was like -- I'm not real sure but it was probably like maybe the 3rd.

CLINIC: About the 3rd of December or January?

CALLER: Of December.

CLINIC: Okay. Okay, according to that then right now you would be about almost 11 weeks.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: Right here at this clinic we don't do abortions that often. We usually have them only twice a month, and I believe for this month we already are booked for abortions. Our next clinic won't be until sometime the first day of March.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: So probably by then, you know, you would probably be at the borderline or past the time for us to do your abortion here.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: So what I would suggest would be for you to try the Los Angeles Planned Parenthood and their affiliate clinics.

CALLER: Okay.

CLINIC: See if they would be able to see you, you know, sooner. They usually do them more often.

CALLER: Oh. Do you know the number for that?

CALLER: Do you know if there's like an age limit to have an abortion or anything?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: Because like I'll be 14 in March.

CLINIC: No. There's no age requirement. No.

CALLER: Would they have to tell my parents or anything?

CLINIC: No.

CALLER: All right. Well, because like my parents can't find out or anything because my boyfriend's 22 and like they hate him because they think he's too old for me. But I don't know. But they wouldn't have to tell anybody or anything?

CLINIC: No. Everything is confidential.

CALLER: Okay. Well, like say that I wasn't pregnant, do you guys do birth control there?

CLINIC: Yes. Uh-huh.

CALLER: And you wouldn't have to tell anybody about birth control either?

CLINIC: Right. Everything's confidential, um-hum.

CALLER: Would my boyfriend be able to take me and that would be all right?

CLINIC: Um-hum. Yes. Uh-huh.

CLINIC: Okay?

CALLER: So if I had any other questions could I call and talk to you?
